No, ADHD is not simply a brain defect.

Many people have been told their brains are fundamentally different and that they’ll have ADHD forever. However, in our experience, ADHD is often the result of an combination of factors such as a dysregulated nervous system due to active primitive reflexes, imbalances in brain chemicals and other factors such as inflammation.

Primitive reflexes that stay active after childhood, such as the Symmetric Tonic Neck Reflex (STNR), can also keep the nervous system in constant stress. These factors can cause inattention, impulsivity, and emotional ups and downs.

The Inner Freedom Healing Program teaches you how to address these root causes, using functional health and exercises and energy practices from Chinese healing to bring your nervous system and brain chemistry back into balance. There’s nothing “wrong” with your brain - it simply needs the right conditions to function at its best.
